Your support will help with the conservation of the Aigantighe's permanent artwork collection.

The Friends have supported the staff of our public gallery since 1976; ultimately to grow the love for the arts in our community. We aim to motivate more people to join the Friends and visit the gallery so they too can be stimulated, provoked, influenced and encouraged.

On a visit to the Aigantighe there is more than meets the eye. As well as the exhibitions that run in the main gallery and house, the staff manage an incredible permanent art collection that has accumulated over the last 50 years. Many of the pieces have been donated by Friends members and the committee because they know that the artworks will be cared for, protected and interpreted within a professional art museum environment.

The Friends will be assisting the gallery with the conservation of permanent artwork in the collection. The art works will be available to not only inspire the people of today but future generations.

We thank you for your continued support and interest. We look forward to seeing you at the next exhibition opening as during a trip to the Aigantighe you are sure to be inspired!
